This blog is dedicated to the memory of Robert “Bob” LaTorre, a dear member of our family and a friend to countless many more.  Bob wore many hats during his lifetime and some would say he was a true renaissance man. To Bob, family was the most important thing in life and finding the good in people was the next.  Bob wrote a column many years ago for the local newspaper where he lived called “A Rosy Glow”.  This was seen in his column. In these columns, Bob was able to take lemons and make lemonade and when the reader was done he would come away with that rosy glow which Bob always strived for.

What we will be doing here is reprinting some of the “Rosy Glow” columns which Bob wrote and I am sure you will all see how timeless his thoughts and topics are. (Many of these columns are from 25 to 30 years ago.) We would like all of you to walk away with that with a rosy glow as well.  We will also be attempting to create our own “Rosy Glow” with new columns and we hope that we live up to Bob’s standards.  Knowing Bob just the fact we are doing this would fill him with a rosy glow.
